Bernard C. Gauci (FCCA, M.A. Fin. Serv. (Melit.), CPA, PCA) is currently a Partner at KSi Malta and is responsible, amongst other things, for advising new and existing clients on their business model or structure, including but not limited to: their company and group structure, corporate governance, internal controls, feasibility of projects and statutory compliance. Mr Gauci is also responsible for international corporate/private tax planning and the auditing of limited liability companies. He directly oversees the auditing and accountancy section of the Firm. Mr Gauci is also a Director at MDC Astrolabe SICAV p.l.c. that has a number of Sub-Funds included in the List of Notified AIFs in terms of Regulation 6 of the Investment Services Act (List of Notified AIFs) Regulations, 2016. In addition, Mr Gauci is a committee member of the Public Interest Entities Committee within the Malta Institute of Accountants since June 2018.
Mr Gauci is a warranted Certified Public Accountant and holds a Practising Certificate in Auditing. He completed the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) professional qualification aged 20 as an ACCA/MIA overall performance prize-winner achieving 1st place in Malta and 17th place worldwide. Mr Gauci has further completed a Master of Arts degree in Financial Services at the University of Malta. He has been admitted a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants. Mr Gauci attends seminars and courses regularly as part of his Continuing Professional Education and Continuing Professional Development obligations.
