Who Qualifies?
Eligible businesses registered with the Malta Business Registry and employing a minimum of five full-time workers can apply for the Green Mobility Scheme. Applicants must be in good standing with tax and social security payments and should not be classified as financially distressed. Additionally, qualified businesses must have suitable commercial premises for charging EVs, ensuring the effective utilisation of infrastructure.

The Green Mobility Scheme offers comprehensive support measures to facilitate the transition to green transportation. This includes interest rate subsidies on loans for charging infrastructure and tax credits, empowering businesses to invest in sustainable mobility solutions.
Activities Covered
The scheme encompasses various activities to enhance the infrastructure and adoption of EVs. Eligible costs include construction, installation, upgrading, and extension of charging infrastructure and leasing clean vehicles for up to 36 months.
