KSi Malta welcomes two central London based firms, Jeffreys Henry LLP and Nyman Libson Paul, each with distinctive market and service niches, that joined Morison KSi as of 1 September 2019.
Jeffreys Henry (JH), a full service firm established more than 100 years ago, is one of the UK’s leading auditors to LSE, AIM, NEX, GEM and CSE listed companies. With a total of 23 UK listed clients and 15 listed on European markets, JH is currently ranked 10th in the league table of Total Stock Market Clients.
This is a very prestigious and special niche for a mid-tier firm in the UK and will be a great complement to member firms who undertake IPO, audit etc. for listed companies. None of Morison KSi’s previous UK member firms undertook IPO work and audits of listed companies other than a couple of small AIM companies.
JH serves clients in a wide range of industry sectors. The firm is noted for its expertise in the tech sector from early stage, venture capital-backed to listed companies including leading global brands. JH also specialises in the restaurant and hospitality sector. JH’s Restaurant and Hospitality and Outsourced Accounting Team was awarded the most hotly-contested trophy “2018: Specialist Team of the Year” at the Accounting Excellence Awards. JH was also impressively the 2016/2017 winner of the highly coveted “UK Mid-Tier Firm of the Year”,
awarded by the British Accountancy Awards.
Nyman Libson Paul (NLP), a full-service firm with clients in a wide range of industry sectors, is renowned as a leading advisor to the entertainment and media industry across the full spectrum of film, TV, music and theatre. NLP has well-established expertise, skills and knowledge of this sector spanning over almost 8 decades, from the 1940s until the present day.
Two of NLP’s partners, Anthony Pins and Dave Morrison, have served as committee members
of the ICAEW Entertainment and Media Group, where Dave Morrison served as chair for
several years. NLP is well placed to contribute to and benefit from the Morison KSi
Entertainment and Media Group.
NLP has a rapidly growing China (and Far East) division that focuses on providing professional services to individuals and corporates, particularly from China, investing in the UK. This is headed by a partner of NLP who is from China (fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English) and a senior tax specialist partner with a team of six professionals who are also fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English. This is very unique in a mid-tier firm like NLP, and has potential for substantial growth. This could contribute to other member firms in their development of the Chinese market in their regions.
