Sir Michael is Co-Chairman of the Government’s Professional Business Services Council (PBSC) which is a vital body for the UK’s largest industry sector and Government working together to strengthen the country’s economic position. He has helped to promote the importance of professional and business services in the UK, advising past and present Government leaders.
The lifetime achievement award is a fiercely contested award, and it is a considerable
achievement to be short-listed. Other shortlisted candidates include: Fayezul Choudhury, CEO of IFAC; James Doty, Chairman of the PCAOB and Olivia Kirtley, President of IFAC.
The winner will be announced on 6 October 2016 at an industry awards dinner, and on behalf
