Malta signs bilateral agreements with Jordan

Malta and Jordan signed 3 bilateral agreements today. The agreements are for:

  1. Cooperation between the countries’ foreign ministries
  2. The waiver of visas for diplomatic passports
  3. The cooperation in combatting crime and illicit trafficking of drugs

The Jordan foreign minister, Nasser Judeh, praised Malta for the important role it played within the EU to ensure that events in the Mediterranean and the Middle East remained on the fore of the international agenda.
